Global Water Dances is currently seeking a volunteer social media specialist with social media marketing experience to help promote our mission and connect with global choreographers, dancers and environmentalists.
We’re searching for someone who is web-savvy who has had experience posting on Facebook and Twitter for non-profits. Schedule is flexible, approximately 4-5 hours per week. This volunteer position receives guidance from the Social Media Consultant and GWD Directors to implement Global Water Dances’ social media strategy for FB/Twitter. We welcome new ideas as well and value a creative and collaborative work environment.
Social media communications are the backbone of public communications with our global community. The Social Media Specialist ensures that communities around the world are aware of what is going on with other communities and how to get involved in impacting change for water issues. We need another social media specialist to join our social media team to help us ensure that our global network stays informed and connected. Experience and Qualification Requirements:
The applicant should have some experience with social media marketing and great communication skills, cultural sensitivity, attention to detail and a passion for the arts and/or environment.
