History of Site and Related Water Issues:
The 237 km long Bangshi river was the source of fresh water, fish, and many other livelihoods. However, after 1990s whole situation have been changed now the Bangshi become chemical receiver as many industries are just discharging all the chemical waste directly into the river and now there are no fish and fresh water for the local people.
