Benjamin Sunarjo
Environmental scientist and dancer by training, Benjamin Sunarjo’s work revolves around the idea of creating a geomorphology of the body: the spiritual and physical body at the intersection to nature, part of, yet distinct from it. He has shown his work at various venues and festivals in Switzerland and the UK and has performed for Fred Gehrig, Rachel Lopez, Simone Forti, Tina Mantel, and Andrea Boll, among others. He is currently completing a MA at Bern University of the Arts.

Angela von Rotz
Performer, musician and activist.
She lives in a circuswagon up on the appenzeller hills next to a sparkling, fresh spring water well.
She’s interested in how art can be a tool for peace-activism and sustainability.

Mara Natterer
Is a Community Dance artist, improviser, performer, dancer. She is interested in the meeting point between the sensuality of the body and the asphalt, between the meditative timelessness of the elements and the fast pace of the city. She likes to create reminders of bodilyness and sensuality, letting herself being moved by the elements.
Mara has been involved in different Community Dance projects in Brazil and the United Kingdom. She is part of the Contact Improvisation community and research centre Living Arts Base, where she teaches and organizes workshops around improvisation, dancing in nature and social change.

Born in this Watercatell called Helvetia in the silence of the alps. I danced through all the continents alway on the search of a harmonious way of living as a human being on this planet and with all its habitants. Conecting Permaculture, Contact Improvisation and Collective Experience slowly Im finding my way back to nature and to my beautiful home called body

History of Site and Related Water Issues:

The Limmat commences at the outfall of Lake Zurich and flows in a northwesterly direction, after 35 km reaching the river Aare. Historically, the Limmat was an important navigation route.
Despite it’s small size, Switzerland holds about 5% of Europe’s water reserves. 100% of the Swiss population enjoys secured access to clean drinking water. In average, a swiss citizen uses about 162 liters of water per day, not counting the water that is needed to produce the goods we consume. In very little countries worldwide clean water is such an abundant ressource as in Switzerland. With our dance we would like to draw attention to this privilege, inviting people to value and protect this treasure.
